A good quality software test process is well known to be a key factor in successful
software development.
Parabola's Test Process is a set of best practices to achieve effective and efficient
testing. Practices are applied according to the project on a pragmatic fit for purpose
basis.
It has also been shown many times that the earlier a fix or change is identified,
the cheaper it is to apply.
Our testing process starts as early as the requirements analysis stage where we
begin producing the system test plan. During the design stage our technical
reviews provide an early opportunity to test for faults in the design.
During the development phase each software object is unit tested by the
developer. After the build is complete an independent and comprehensive system test
is performed. Then, prior to implementation, the business is given the opportunity
to acceptance test the solution.
Finally during implementation the solution is tested in its live environment for
configuration or environmental problems.
