Friends of the Earth benefit from eMarketing campaign
Parabola is pleased to have started working with Friends of the Earth on a 6 month project to increase revenues from their web presence and to generate more interest in their activities via the internet.
Parabola gained this contract in competition with 5 other companies. The success of our bid was due to our approach of offering sound advice on eMarketing and being willing to tailor the solutions to the specific needs of Friends of the Earth – rather than offering a set package.
We recommended testing a combination of eMarketing techniques and reporting monthly on the progress, reviewing the results and refining what has been put in place to maximise the return on investment. Such solutions include Pay per Click advertising and search engine optimisation.
Our approach is flexible – we will reconsider suggestions if we can see they are not meeting the needs of Friends of the Earth – and also skilled - we will be carefully interpreting the results each month for Friends of the Earth and advising then throughout as to the best ways to tweak their spending to maximise results. This means Friends of the Earth can see very clearly how their investment is being spent and can easily redirect or stop particular spend if necessary - rather than waiting for the end of the 6 months to find out how well the project has gone.
We were attracted to the project partly because of the nature of an organisation such as Friends of the Earth and also because they already had interesting material which should readily attract their target market with the right forms of promotion. Friends of the Earth have used the internet to promote their material in the past and we felt sure there was scope for eMarketing to be more successful given the right mix of techniques and technologies.
At the end of the project Friends of the Earth should be left with a set of solutions which they are confident are working and are value for money.
